Who's dreams are " you " working for?

I attended a seminar the other night to learn more about the Home Business Opportunity. The speaker made some really good points, which I would like to share with you:

Your traditional job is just allowing you to get by, if that.
By JUST getting by, we allow ourselves to continue living life in the " Rat Race. "
Just doing the same thing over and over again and getting the same results.

Creating Financial diversity will provide you with options. How do you create financial diversity? Through Multiple Streams of income:
1. Real Estate ( Invest )
2. Paper Assets ( Stocks, Bonds .. )
3. Business Owner

The road to great wealth is having all three. But like everything else you need to crawl before you walk .. walk before you run.

If you really want to get ahead you have to do something "additional " to what you are currently doing.

My goal is to Start my Business in 2010, then leverage that Business to buy Real Estate.

It may not be easy and will require a commitment of time & some money but it is possible. Visualize a smowball rolling down a hill.
It starts off slow and small and gradually as the momentum builds and increases the snow ball gets bigger & bigger and faster & faster. This is true for any Business. You just have to be willing to work hard today and know that you will reap the rewards in time.

What is the alternative?

You are already " working " hard, but for someone else .. someone else's dreams, someone else's retirement. Why not focus and work hard on your dreams, your retirement, your families future. You can work as much or as little as you want.

The question is: Who's dreams do you want to work for?

Why MLM / Direct Sales ...

I have been on a journey these past few years with personal & financial development.
Which means many seminars have been attended and many books read.

I do recommend that the first step is changing ones mindset / attitude. We often
limit ourselves on what we can or can not do. We separate ourselves from those who
what we refer to as being " successful " .. the 3%.

But what is the real difference between them and me????

Here are some of the differences:
They make decisions and take action.
They do things when they don't feel like it.
They have a positive attitude.
They don't let fear hold them back.
They don't get distracted.
They don't wait for an opportunity, they make the opportunity.
They are willing to do the work, stick to the plan and wait for the big payoff.

Most of us want to do something and receive the reward immediately.
We go to work and collect a pay check. But thay keeps us chained to our jobs.
No financial freedom, no flexability. No work = No check!!

We all have an opportunity if willing to take it, to learn from those who have gone before us.
We can do what the rich / successful do.

Investing in ourselves and in our Business.
Set a plan to do what ever is necessary to grow as a person, as a business owner and as
a distributor. Go to seminars, meet up groups & read books that will guide you on this journey.

The beauty of Direct Sales is:
You are the CEO of your Business
You do not need employees ( you can involve your family if you wish )
No rental or lease space is required
Many Tax Benefits
You can work as much or as often as you like
Your Business is open 24/7 ( Website )
Low Risk and Low Start Up Fees
You control how much or how little you earn

This is just some of the reasons why I have decided to Pursue Direct Sales.

Feel free to share your thoughts with me or join the journey.
